Ensuring Accurate HRV Measurements

Please follow these guidelines for the most accurate measurements and data recording with Habitone.

Pay attention to the following points during measurement:

  1. Sit on a chair with your back straight and breathe naturally.
  2. Firmly place your fingertip on the lens and keep it still.
  3. Ensure a regular waveform is consistently displayed.
  4. Adjust Your Posture and Breathing

1. Posture and Breathing

Posture

Sit upright in a chair with your back straight. Posture can affect the accuracy of the measurement, just like blood pressure monitoring.

Breathing

Avoid heavy breathing or deep breaths during measurement, which can affect accuracy. Breathe at a natural, comfortable pace.

2. Hold Your Smartphone Securely

As shown in the illustration, hold your smartphone securely in one hand.

Avoid movements as much as possible during the measurement to ensure accuracy.

3. Place Your Index Finger on the Camera Lens

Place your fingertip firmly on the camera lens.

You don't need to press too hard — just enough to feel the weight of the smartphone on your fingertip.
