What is the Energy Level?

The Energy Level is a key metric in Habitone.

Energy Level provides insights into your autonomic nervous system activity based on heart rate variability data from over one million users. This index uses an average morning value of 100 as a baseline.

The autonomic nervous system helps your body adapt to various stimuli and stress by controlling your physical state. The Energy Level quantifies this activity.

Typically, the Energy Level is highest in the morning, decreases throughout the day, and recovers with sleep. A higher value indicates active autonomic nervous system activity, suggesting your body is well-equipped to handle stress and heal. Conversely, a lower Energy Level may indicate a reduced capacity for managing stress and maintaining physical balance.

Energy Level Range

The Energy Level is displayed on a scale from 50 to 150, with 100 being the standard value. Here's a general guideline:

The app will provide feedback such as "High" or "Low" based on your readings, adjusting to your baseline over time.

What Can We Learn from the Energy Level?

Days with High Energy Level : Be More Active

On days when your Energy Level is high, it's an excellent time to tackle essential tasks or engage in active pursuits, as your autonomic nervous system is functioning optimally.

However, even with a high Energy Level, listen to your body—avoid pushing yourself if you feel unwell. Sometimes, your autonomic nervous system might be extra active to combat fatigue or early signs of illness.

If you feel fine, go ahead and take on more activities.
